Airport Day 2021
Ride Scheduling
Please read ALL of the information below in order to be prepared for your free flight
Again.... Read ALL of this before calling to schedule. Don't skim it. Read it. It's important!
Airport Day this year will be held from 8am - 2pm on Saturday, July 10th. Pre-scheduled flights will begin at 8am to take advantage of the cooler weather. Cool air = smoother rides, so if you're concerned about your stomach, book an early flight time! We have several pilots flying rides this year in several different types of aircraft, so we hope to accommodate as many people as possible! Unfortunately, we are unable to take children ages 6 or under, so while the little ones are welcome to come out and see the planes, watch flights, and have some lunch, please do not schedule flight times for them.
Flights will be scheduled for 30 minute intervals, with 10 minutes for briefing, and an approximate 15-20 minute flight time. Once you've booked your time slot, you'll need to check in at the table in Cowboy Aviation with your waiver (more about that later...) when you arrive at the airport. You'll receive a wristband with your time on it as a reminder as well as instructions on where to meet your pilot. You'll need to be at the staging area at the time you've been assigned. You are welcome to wander the airport and look over all of the displays, etc. while you wait, but be sure to be back on time! Failure to arrive at your designated time will likely result in your place being given to a standby passenger, so don't be late!!!
The flight path will take you from the airport, south of Laramie, back into town and over the stadium, past downtown, and then back to the airport. The views of the mountains, river, and town are exceptional, so don't forget to bring your cameras and your smiles!
All of our volunteer pilots are well trained men and women, and will strive to give you the best experience possible. However, each participant will be required to fill out a liability waiver prior to their flight. You are required to review and print this waiver, fill it out, and bring it with you to present to the check-in table attendant. Each passenger will need to have their own signed waiver, and for passengers under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must sign on their behalf.

Please keep in mind that all scheduled flights are subject to weather and the mechanical whims of aircraft. In the event of bad weather or high winds, we reserve the right to cancel flights as necessary for safety. In the event of a mechanical problem with an aircraft, we will do our best to fit scheduling into other aircraft, but may not be able to accommodate everyone.
Ready to book your flight?
Not to beat a dead horse here, but did you read the stuff above? Completely?
If you did, carry on. But if you didn't, go do it, then come back to this point.
To schedule your flight time, please call Jarin Scovil. Only phone call reservations will be accepted, as there are questions that we will need to ask in order to properly schedule your flight. Please do not text or email for reservations. If you get voicemail, it is important that you leave a message as those will be returned in the order that they are received. All set then? Call 307-399-6477 to make your reservation!
